Jordan Reporting from LA

Hey Guys,

This is Jordan reporting from Los Angeles, CA.  I hope everyone is doing great and having an awesome summer.  I apologize for not communicating sooner, but this was the first I was able to have an internet connection.  I have been to Laughlin, Nevada, Bullhead City, Arizona, and we finished up at Las Vegas.  So far, the trip has been wonderful and we have seen many attractions.  I have to say that it is a totally different world, here on the west coast.  

I have missed everyone, and hope to be back at church this coming Wednesday, unless something happens again with the airlines.   I want to remind everyone of full choir rehearsal on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the choir room.  I hope to see everyone there!  Well I hope everyone has an awesome service Sunday, as I hope to have one at the church we will be visiting here in L.A.!  Can't wait to see  you guys!

Updates

 

Wow! What a Sunday we had here at unity, it was amazing.

 

 I have sent out the voice of one newsletter, I mailed it yesterday so everyone should be receiving theirs in the mail today or tomorrow. There are two important dates on the newsletter that I need everyone to please make sure they mark on their calendars and also male sure they are present at the event. The dates are August 21: Unity Music Department Vision Conference, and August 24: IWORSHIP service @ 6:00 p.m. There will be more information released on these dates so please be looking and listen out! Well I hope everyone had an awesome day, and I look forward to seeing everyone when I get back! Be blessed

Great Weekend

Well I hope that everyone had an great and safe 4^th of July weekend! My weekend was filled with family, fun, and the beach and to top it off we had a wonderful celebration here at the church Sunday. We started the morning off with a wonderful time of Worship and the Word, and what an awesome message Pastor Moxley brought. That evening we kicked service off with an hour filled with praise and worship, and ended with a fellowship in our gym, along with volley ball Tournament. Each department  in our church formed a team, and sad to say that the music department did not win, but we sure did have a great time. The winner was the Children’s department they were under the direction of children’s Pastor Kenny Goober.  Well I thought I would just take a few minutes and share my 4^th of July weekend with you.

 

Also if you have never visited Unity, trust me you need to come check us out! Our next service for this week will be Wednesday night @ 7:00 p.m. We have Wednesday night classes for all ages. Well hope you have a great and blessed week and remember God deserves your best Praise no matter what!
