Full Choir Rehearsal

 

 

What a time we had last night at Full Choir rehearsal, it was great. We rehearsed five new songs, and began our new layout of full choir rehearsal. We started the night off with a devotion and prayer and went into a 25 minute theory class with are very own Rhonda Trull, begining in August we will be adding one other new thing to our new layout of rehearsal. If you were not able to attend, you don’t want to miss next months, the date will be Thursday July 31 @ 6:30 p.m. Please mark your calenders.

Big Thank You

A big thank you goes out to all who attended the choir night out Sunday night, it was a great time of fellowship. I heard so many wonderful things and that It went over so well, that I will be planning to do them every quarter with our ministry team. The event consisted of a night full of food,fellowship, games and to end the night a game of volley ball. So if you were not able to attend this fellowship, be looking out for the next date. Another big thank you goes out to louise Robinson, Jessica Takaki, Sherri Finnerty, Priscilla Hamilton, and Laura Godwin; all these wonderful people help prepare and put together all of the food, so again thank you.


What’s happening in the unity Music department this week, Don’t forget we will be having full choir rehearsal this Thursday night @ 6:30 p.m., we will meet in the choir room. Starting at this months full choir rehearsal we will be going with a new layout of rehearsal, it is very vital that everyone in the choir is present. So please make every effort to attend. Also we will be learning Five new songs which are # 1, 2,3, 5, and 12 on UVR2. Well I hope everyone is having a wonderful and blessed day, I look forward to seeing you Thursday.

Night out with The Choir

WOW! What a Sunday we had here at Unity, it was amazing. Pastor Moxley brought the Word!

So for a little info for the week this Sunday coming up is our choir event night, its called A NIGHT OUT WITH THE CHOIR, its going to be great. Its going to be a night of Food, Fun and Fellowship.It will be held in the gym following the PM service. Reminder to all choir members I need to know by Thursday how many people will be attending with you. Also don’t forget we have only two weeks of choir recruitment left. All choir members please be in prayer who God is leading you to ask to become apart of our ministry team. Benefit Sing

Hope everyone’s day is going great, my is awesome. Just gearing up for a Benefit Sing Friday Night here at Unity. Hey if you have nothing planned Friday night come check us out, its going to be a night full of Praise and Worship. Other featured groups will be Cornerstone, Shechem and the Horne Family! This is going to be one awesome night. I have personally heard each of these groups lead worship and WOW! Well hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed day. Remember GIVE YOUR BEST PRAISE!

Up Coming Events

It’s SUMMER TIME! I hope that you and your family our having a wonderful summer so far.

As we go through the month of June, there are many important events to remember.

1: Choir recruitment: Choir recruitment will be going on the entire month of June. Our goal is to recruit 15 new people to the ministry team. We have had five register so far, which is not far from the goal we have set.

Also, don’t forget that the choir member who recruits the most people will receive 50 dollars.

Please make sure you have the new individual fill out a profile sheet at our booth in the main foyer. I am asking that all new recruits join us at our June 22 five o’ clock rehearsal.

2: Benefit Sing: The United Voices Choir will be singing Friday June 13 for a benefit sing for our very own Tim and Stella Hutcheson. I am asking that everyone please be here @ 6:30 robed and ready to support Tim and Stella. This night will be filled with a time of worship and fun.

3: Night Out With The Choir: This event was designed nothing but for the United Voices Choir and their families. It will be held June 22 following the PM service in the gym. It’s going to be a night of food, fun, and fellowship. You don’t want to miss this night!

I am looking forward to all of this months upcoming events. I know it gets very busy in the summer time, but please make every effort to attend the events. You don’t want to miss the fun.
